Fender Stratocaster Bill Carson Custom Shop Limited 1993 Mint

Bill Carson was the man to test the new Fender Broadkaster in the field, his discoveries and findings have led to the design of the dual cutaway contoured body as we know it today. This early custom shop is a tribute to the man who worked for Fender throughout decades. It is very collectible, limited to a 100 pieces, it features a 57 style body in a very unique colour; Cimmaron red, only used once for this series. The cimarron red is based on the the Ball room where Bill used to play his original ’59 Fiesta Red Stratocaster in the 1950s. It has a fat and figured maple neck you either hate or love, 9.5’’ radius, Bill Carson signature on the headstock, custom neckplate and single ply pickguard. It is in collector-mint condition, some signs of age but definitely unplayed. All the plastics are still sealed. Comes with the original case, accessories and certificate of authenticity signed by John Page. Consignment.
