Gerundino Flamenco Blanca 1988

This Gerundino Flamenco was made in 1988 and is stamped, signed and executed with beautiful engraved tuners. A beautiful and extraordinarily rare example of a Gerundino Blanca with a Cypress body, a spruce top and French polish finish. These instruments are played by Paco Paco Peña and Vincente Amigo (and many other Flamenco greats).

Gerundinos are known for their mysterious and soulful sound. This instrument has the full and direct sound that you would expect from sparring, supplemented with the clarity of a Blanca thanks to the Cypresse body. Very balanced and with that typical Flamenco sound that evokes memories and images of Spain with every note. A fabulous flamenco guitar from one of the best flamenco luthiers in history. This Gerundino has been played a lot in the past 40 years and has signs of wear on the body with some buckle rash on the back and playing tracks on the top. The Cypresse back contains three professionally repaired cracks.
