Lowden S35W Figured Walnut 12 Fret

The S body is, except for the Wee, the smallest Lowden body. George designed this model in 1996, with the aim to make a small instrument that sounds great. Not with thin and superficial highs, but highs that are round and three-dimensional. The mids are present and the lows are very impressive for a guitar with this size.

Following in the footsteps of the all mahogany S-35M, George was curious to see if there were other hardwoods that might offer something a little different to the traditional soundboard wood choices. The very first ’S' model George ever made used walnut for the back and sides so he liked the idea of revisiting this original idea all these years later, but including a walnut top. Includes luxury hardshell case.
