Mario Gropp Classical Padouc 2010

Mario Gropp Spezial classical guitar from 2010. The Mario Groppp workshop is characterised by the harmonious interplay of tradition and innovation whereby old-time construction methods and easthetics along the lines of Weissgerber meet novel ways of construction optimising both sound and playability. The Spezial series is crafted to meet the highest demands of concert artists. These models are renowned for their quick response, long sustain, even tonal balance across the entire fingerboard, and excellent projection. The tonewoods and other materials used are of the highest quality in order to produce the best possible tone. The instrument is also hand-finished using French polish. This Spezial model also features the custom bridge which improves the intonation of the instrument. The body of this 2010 Spezial is made of Padouc, which is combined with a spruce top, mahogany neck with 650mm (25 9/16") scale length, 53mm (2 1/16") nutwidth, ebony fretboard, rosewood bridge with split saddle, oval soundhole and Alessi tuners with ebony buttons. Condition is excellent, pretty clean overall with some playwear, dings and string change wear primarily in the top finish. Includes hardshell case. Consignment.
