Ramirez 1A Segovia Scale Model Brazilian Rosewood Cedar 1974

This guitar was built in the famous workshop of Jose Ramirez III, which produced instruments performed on by countless professionals over the years from Sting to Segovia, Chet Atkins to Sabicas and Lee Ritenour to Christopher Parkening.

This 1A model from 1974 has two gold 'Modelo Segovia' labels partly over the actual interior label. This label was added by the distributor Sherry-Brener without the permission of Ramirez. It was used as a marketing device since Ramirez never made a Segovia Model.

The Brazilian rosewood body and cedar top give it a great volume and projection with deep low end and warm lush-sounding trebles.

This 1974 Ramirez 1A is in amazingly clean condition. It has some usual traces of playwear, dings and weatherchecking. But we almost never seen a 48 year old guitar this clean. Comes in a Bombshell hardshell case with TFOA passport. And with CITES certificate.
