Dion Guitars is een eenmansbedrijf dat gespecialiseerd is in handgemaakte akoestische gitaren. Oprichter Dion James bouwt zijn gitaren momenteel vanuit The Club House in Edmonton, Canada.
De gitaren van Dion staan ​​bekend om hun opvallende minimalisme. Zonder veel bling of veel versieringen heeft Dion een uniek ontwerp bereikt met een elegante eenvoud. Some other uncommon design elements are the bracing pattern, longer headstock and nut which is placed 'in' the fretboard instead of against the end.
The Model No.4 is the larger one of Dion's two models and this example features an all-mahogany construction. Besides mahogany, we find Indian rosewood on the bridge, fretboard and headstock veneer. It is quick and responsive whether played light or loud, it has a clear and full voice, a complex range of sound, and vibrant sustain. The soundport makes sure the sound is projected well to the player so you can hear every nuance of your playing.
For safe transportation, the Model 4 comes in a sturdy Main Stage hardshell case with TFOA passport.
