Silvertone 1457 w/ Amp in Case 1965

The 1457 guitar epitomized the Silvertone mindset: the best that just a little money could buy. This model includes a case with built in Selmer amplifier, usually these get seperated in the mysts of time, but this set is still complete! The Danelectro built 1457 is a great guitar with a full set of features including a poplar body with Masonite top and back, two 'lipstick' pickups, an elegant Dano-designed bridge, six-in-a-box tuners that work reversed, concentric stacked knobs, 3-way switch selector switch, neck tilt adjustment, a cool red sparkle burst finish, and a great feel and balance to a very lightweight guitar. It is completely original and the condition of this instrument is Good; has the expected playwear for its age with some obviou signs of wear like some dents in the side. The neck has been broken once along the reinforced bars, this break has been repaired in the past. This has not happened in the neatest way, but it is constructively good, and you don't feel much of it while playing. An identical sound, resonates well and pleasantly for a Catalog Guitar!
