This Andy Manson Archtop features a compact, uniquely shaped body that makes it play and sound impressive. Andy Manson is one of Europe's most respected guitar builders, and this archtop demonstrates exactly why his instruments are so coveted among connoisseurs.

The sides and back are constructed from exceptionally beautiful flamed maple, and the top is crafted from European spruce. The neck and bridge are made of the same flamed maple, creating a beautiful, harmonious whole. The bindings, fingerboard, pickguard, headstock overlay, and tailpiece are made of ebony, which contrasts with the beautiful maple wood and truly showcases its beauty.

The guitar is unlacquered, but instead features a vegetable-based, hand-rubbed Tung oil finish that truly brings out the depth of the wood and allows it to resonate and breathe freely.

Every view of this guitar reveals another well-thought-out detail of Manson's impressive craftsmanship. For example, the floating fingerboard and pickup, the hand-carved heel, and how the volute and the ebony back of the headstock blend together. The full Hide-Glue construction and the true care taken in crafting every detail contribute to the unique sound of this instrument.

A small crack on the neck has been repaired and is barely noticeable, but should you wish to know; it runs from the nut on the treble side. The guitar is otherwise lightly played and shows hardly any signs of wear; only the glossy finish on the back of the neck and a small scratch on the back of the headstock reveal that this guitar is not new. A wondrous and lightweight instrument with a beautiful and unique sound!
