The Atkin The AJ is a jumbo with character. While many jumbos struggle with projection, Alister Atkin solved this issue by making the body slightly thinner. The result? A powerful guitar that effortlessly projects its sound into the room, with the rich and beautiful tone you expect from a jumbo!

This AJ is equipped with a select Sitka spruce top and AAA flamed maple back and sides. This combination delivers a clear, articulate tone with beautiful sustain. The flamed maple not only creates a visual spectacle but also provides tight lows and sparkling highs.

Whether you play fingerstyle or pick hard, this jumbo responds dynamically and full-bodied, with a richness that makes you forget this is a modern instrument! The stunning 'Hops' pickguard completes the look and gives the guitar its distinctive character.

Besides the aged finish, it looks really clean and is in near mint condition. We could only detect one spot with some air under the lacquer on the shoulder of the body, close to the heel. Comes in a TKL case with an authenticity certificate.

This instrument has been carefully inspected for originality, condition and playability, then set up to our Gold Standard by a luthier. We make sure it arrives in your hands exactly as it should: sounding its best, playing effortlessly and ready to be enjoyed from the very first note.
