Atkin J45 Sunburst 2017

Experience the timeless sound of the Atkin J45—a masterpiece of craftsmanship that honors the legacy of classic acoustic guitars. Blending vintage aesthetics with modern build techniques, the Atkin J45 offers an immersive playing experience and a rich, balanced tone. For singer-songwriters, fingerstyle virtuosos, and blues enthusiasts alike, the Atkin J45 embodies the essence of a classic sound within a beautifully crafted instrument.

At the heart of the J45 lies a Sitka spruce top, which delivers powerful projection and clarity while retaining the warm, rich tones for which authentic vintage J45 guitars are renowned. The mahogany back and sides contribute to this warmth and lend the instrument a stunning aesthetic. This combination of tonewoods ensures a balanced sound with excellent resonance.

This 2017 Atkin J45 shows various signs of play, including several dings, and the sunburst finish on the body exhibits areas of wear. The bridge saddle is quite low, and the action is no longer at its optimal level; the guitar would benefit from a neck reset to restore its playability to an ideal state.

This guitar has been carefully inspected for condition and playability, then set up to our Gold Standard by a luthier. We make sure it arrives in your hands exactly as it should: sounding its best, playing effortlessly and ready to be enjoyed from the very first note.
