The Blind Guitars B24 is a beautifully made boutique instrument, hand-built in France by luthier Virgile Pilon. Blind Guitars has earned a strong reputation for exceptional craftsmanship and carefully voiced instruments, and this B24 shows exactly why.

Pilon founded Blind Guitars with a clear mission: to recapture the soul and character of the great acoustic blues guitars of the 1920s and 1930s, while building each instrument to the taste of the individual player. Having come up through repair work, he combines a deep understanding of traditional construction with modern building techniques, resulting in guitars that are remarkably light, responsive and alive. The B24 is the fruit of that philosophy.

This example pairs a solid master grade red cedar top with a body of solid curly Asian mahogany, a combination that delivers warmth, richness and a wonderfully open response. The slope shoulder jumbo body gives the guitar plenty of depth and projection, while scalloped X bracing keeps it fast and dynamic. Elegant details set it apart: Rocklite Ebano bindings, a curly Asian mahogany rosette and headplate, maple purfling, an ebony headstock overlay with gold veneer, and an ebony fingerboard and bridge.
