This 2012 Boucher Mahogany Goose is a beautiful Dreadnought that brings the combination of Adirondack spruce and mahogany to life. With its scalloped X-bracing and compound radius ebony fingerboard, this Canadian boutique guitar delivers a sound and playability that rivals much more expensive instruments.

This Boucher is part of the Studio Goose series, and these guitars are specifically designed to meet the needs of demanding guitarists seeking a precise acoustic live sound or wishing to meet the strict requirements of studio recording engineers.

Boucher Guitars has established itself in a unique position in the guitar world, literally and figuratively. Their workshop in Quebec, Canada, is located in the heart of the Canadian Appalachians, surrounded by the largest Adirondack spruce forest in all of North America. This geographical position enables Boucher to manufacture tops exclusively from the finest Adirondack spruce, a wood species legendary for its resonance and responsiveness.

This guitar was built in 2012 and has accumulated light signs of wear over the years. A tiny mark can be found on the top, and there is a lacquer chip on the binding. Furthermore, light signs of wear can be found on the pickguard, the back of the neck, and the front of the headstock, and the gold-colored tuners show some patina. However, it is a well-maintained guitar that has yet to reveal its true potential, because this Boucher can handle all acoustic playing styles!
