Bourgeois DB Signature Piccolo Parlor Madagascar Rosewood Sinker Spruce 2023

With a body length of just 18 inches, the Piccolo Parlor is the smallest model in the Bourgeois series. It is a guitar with a short scale length and a beautifully full and balanced sound that you would expect from a much larger guitar. Although you can get away with even a bit of light strumming, this is primarily a perfect fingerstyle guitar.

The unique tonal characteristics are produced by the guitar's small soundbox. The guitar sounds much bigger than it looks, so do not be fooled by the volume of this parlor! And the Madagascar rosewood back and sides and the Sinker spruce top ensure that the tone is deep in the lows and crystal clear in the highs. We also cannot stop looking at the beauty of the Madagascar rosewood; the deep, dark grain really shows why this is considered the best alternative to Brazilian rosewood.

And the luxury doesn't even stop there! The list of fine details is long: a beautiful DB Signature herringbone purfling, figured koa binding, ziricote headstock veneer, bone diamond & square fingerboard inlays, and snakewood knobs on the Waverly tuning machines. It is a real treat; for the eyes, the hands, and the ears!

This Bourgeois was built in 2023 and is in excellent condition. Light signs of wear and a few small dings can be found on the top, and there are several small, superficial scratches on the back of the body. Additionally, a small ding can be found on the side of the body, and the matte finish on the back of the neck has become shiny from playing. Some small dents can be found on the edge of the back of the headstock, and the guitar is equipped with an LR Baggs VTC pickup for extra functionality.
