The Bourgeois LDBO 14 'The Standard' combines the charm and tone of the Great Depression era with modern precision. This 00-sized guitar offers a vintage-inspired aesthetic, enhanced by an Aged Tone sunburst finish and thoughtful details. Its tone and playability are unmistakably Bourgeois, embodying true craftsmanship and character.

At the heart of this guitar lies an Aged Tone Adirondack spruce top. Thanks to its lightweight yet stiff properties, the Aged Tone treatment simulates decades of natural aging, resulting in an immediate, played-in response. Paired with solid mahogany back and sides, it produces a warm, woody, and clear tone. The scalloped X-bracing enhances resonance, allowing the guitar to project exceptionally well—despite its compact size—while remaining balanced.

Aesthetic details such as ivoroid binding, multi-line purfling, and a tortoise-style pickguard evoke the design of a bygone era. The Madagascar rosewood fretboard and mother-of-pearl inlays add an elegant touch. The Honduran mahogany neck, featuring a soft V-profile, offers a comfortable grip, while the shorter 25" scale length and 12" fretboard radius further enhance the playing experience.

This Bourgeois LDBO 14 shows some light scratches on the back of the body, including one slightly more prominent scratch.
