Collings 03A Custom Cocobolo Adirondack Spruce Western Shaded Top 2024

We are always excited to welcome a Collings to The Fellowship of Acoustics, because in Austin, Texas, they know better than anyone how to build a fantastic guitar!

This custom-built 03A 14-fret with a Western Shaded finish on the Adirondack spruce top has a balanced and full tone with prominent bass and volume thanks to the combination of woods. The cocobolo back and sides are stunningly beautiful in themselves and complement the top beautifully in terms of both sound and appearance.

This 03A is a fantastic instrument to play thanks to the solid yet ergonomically shaped Modified V neck profile and the compound radius in the fingerboard, making this Collings smooth and comfortable to play along the entire length of the neck. The wide nut and wide string spacing make the guitar an excellent choice for the fingerstyle guitarist!

The guitar was built in 2024 and is still in near mint condition, with only minimal signs of wear on the pickguard. Guitars with a small body like this one are highly valued for their projection and excel as recording instruments. It is not without reason that these guitars do not stay in our shop for long; once you have played a Collings, you won't want anything else!
