It was designed to sound open and expressive while keeping the clarity and control of an articulate semi hollow, and the trestle block underneath the top helps it stay stable and focused.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe Diadem pickups were voiced especially for Collings. They have the clarity and presence of a good P90, but with a little more depth and richness, which suits everything from clean jazz and country to gritty rock and roll. The Bigsby is paired with an adjustable bridge with nylon saddles on a pinned ebony base, which keeps the guitar stable in use and lets the notes ring out. The maple neck has a comfortable C profile, and the 12 inch radius on the ebony fingerboard makes chords and single note lines feel equally natural.
