Dion Guitars is a one-man business specializing in handcrafted acoustic guitars. Founder Dion James currently builds his guitars from The Club House in Edmonton, Canada. Dion guitars are known for their striking minimalism. Without much visual frills and unnecessary decorations, Dion has achieved a unique design with an elegant simplicity, every detail is fascinating in itself!

The Number 4 is Dion's larger model and this specimen has a truly beautiful combination of woods. The big eye-catcher of this beautiful guitar are the Cocobolo back and sides, a wood with a beautiful deep color and pattern. In addition, the guitar has a neck of Honduran mahogany, and ebony is used for the fretboard, bridge and veneer on the headstock. The mahogany details in both the binding, rosette and on the fretboard complete the picture!

And this guitar is not only beautiful, it also sounds phenomenally good! It’s fast and responsive, whether played softly or loudly, and has a clear, full voice, a complex tonal range, and lively sustain.
