Dennis Fano built his first guitar in 1995 and from the outset focused on instruments that capture the spirit of vintage models from the 1950s and 1960s, but without the compromises associated with genuine vintage guitars. Hand-built in Phoenix, Arizona by Wes McClave, this SP6 is inspired by the classic single-cut guitars that laid the foundation for rock, blues, and country, but with a few subtle improvements such as a compound radius of 10“-16” with its comfortable “C” shaped neck. In addition, the two Lollar Imperial humbuckers are based on the classic PAF design and offer a warm, open sound with enough clarity to cut through any mix. This is an instrument that feels instantly familiar, but with the contemporary refinement that modern players crave.
