Fender Custom Shop 59 Stratocaster Dennis Galuszka Masterbuilt Heavy Relic Black

For this Masterbuilt Stratocaster, Dennis Galuszka drew inspiration from the iconic models of the late 1950s. We had to take a close look to be sure it wasn't a real '59 model!

Dennis Galuszka is a renowned luthier at Fender's Custom Shop, a division of Fender Musical Instruments Corporation specializing in creating high-quality, custom-made guitars. Galuszka began his career at Fender in the 1990s and rose to become one of the most respected and experienced master builders in the Custom Shop.

There is really only one thing we can say about this Stratocaster: what a finish! The spectacular Heavy Relic Black truly pops off the guitar, and to top it all off, it also features a parchment pickguard. Built with the highest quality materials and with utmost precision, this is a beautiful example of Galuszka’s craftsmanship. For this Stratocaster, Galuszka has furthermore chosen a maple neck with an Oval C profile, and we can only say that it is a wonderfully comfortable profile! Thanks to the 9.5-inch radius, the guitar is also great to play higher up the neck, so bring on those guitar solos!

Finally, three single coils hand-wound by Josefina Campos provide a beautiful sound that you can handle in any genre, and thanks to the five-way switch, the beloved intermediate positions are also easy to reach. The guitar comes with a Fender Custom Shop certificate in a case.
