Fender Custom Shop 67 Telecaster Deluxe Closet Classic Natural Blonde Bigsby 2024

The guitars from Fender's Custom Shop are masterpieces, each and every one of them, that transport you back to the time when the brand established its name in the world of electric guitars. This Telecaster takes you to the second half of the 1960s!

Fender has a long history of iconic finishes, and the Natural Blonde applied to this Telecaster as part of the Time Machine series was already found on Fender guitars in the 1950s. The guitar features an ash body and a maple neck and fingerboard with a 9.5-inch radius. The '60-style Oval C profile ensures a comfortable and familiar playing experience. To enhance the vintage character, the Custom Shop has applied a Closet Classic relic, creating a slightly aged look for a well-preserved vintage guitar.

As you would expect from a Custom Shop instrument, this Telecaster is equipped with hand-wound pickups that bring the full tonal range of the Stratocaster to life—in this case, '67-style single coil. The vintage-style tuning machines ensure stable tuning and contribute to the classic playing feel, and the Bigsby and RSD bridge add a whole extra dimension to that.

This Fender Custom Shop Stratocaster was built in 2024 and is in excellent condition. Due to the relic finish, signs of wear are difficult to spot, but the guitar is very clean. The small lacquer chips at the fret ends are noticeable; whether this is due to the neck shrinking in the winter or an overzealous filing of the frets is not entirely clear, but in any case, they do not hinder the playing comfort of the guitar!

This instrument has been carefully inspected for originality, condition and playability, then set up to our Gold Standard by a luthier. We make sure it arrives in your hands exactly as it should: sounding its best, playing effortlessly and ready to be enjoyed from the very first note.
