Fender LTD 1953 Telecaster NOS Nocaster Blonde 2023

This Fender Custom Shop Limited Edition 1953 Telecaster is a beautiful nod to the earliest days of the solidbody electric, finished in classic Blonde over an ash body. Built in 2023 as part of a limited run, it captures the raw, direct charm that made Fender's first Telecasters so influential.

As a Custom Shop creation it is built to vintage specification with premium materials and period correct appointments. The ash body and one piece maple neck with its chunky 1954 U profile give it that substantial, hand filling vintage feel, while the 7.25 to 9.5 compound radius keeps it comfortable for both rhythm and lead playing. A three saddle ashtray bridge, vintage style tuners and a blonde nitrocellulose finish complete the authentic early fifties look, and at just 3.1 kg it is a light and lively instrument.

Tone comes from a pair of single coils, a Twisted Tele in the neck and an OBG single coil in the bridge, wired to a master volume, master tone and three way switch. Together they deliver that unmistakable Telecaster voice: a twangy, cutting bridge, a warm and rounded neck tone and plenty of snap and clarity in between.

This guitar started life as an NOS model, meaning it left the Custom Shop looking factory fresh. Since then it has picked up quite a few lacquer cracks and chips, giving it a look and feel much closer to a Journeyman relic, with genuine, honestly earned wear rather than factory applied aging. It comes with its case candy, a hardshell case and a TFOA Passport.

This instrument has been carefully inspected for condition and playability, then set up to our Gold Standard by a luthier. We make sure it arrives in your hands exactly as it should: sounding its best, playing effortlessly and ready to be enjoyed from the very first note.
