Fender Mustang Sonic Blue Lefty 2007

The Fender Mustang has been a beloved classic since its introduction in 1964, and this left-handed Crafted in Japan example in Sonic Blue finish is once again a stunning appearance.

The Mustang was introduced by Fender in 1964 as a student model, but quickly grew into a true cult classic. Originally intended as an affordable alternative to the Stratocaster, it eventually found its way into the hands of iconic players such as Kurt Cobain and Thurston Moore.

The two MG-Vintage single coil pickups deliver that typical bright and slightly edgy Mustang tone, while the on/off and phase switches offer plenty of tonal variation.

This 2007 Mustang shows signs of playwear on the body and neck, especially on the body where various scratches and dings are visible. On the back there is a larger dent surrounded by smaller marks. At the lower side of the body, there was likely an impact in the past, after which a lacquer repair was carried out. The guitar is otherwise in very good condition and comes in a TFOA gigbag.
