The Fender Princeton is one of the most beloved small tube amplifiers ever built, and this August 1963 example comes from the highly sought after Brownface era. Positioned between the raw character of the Tweed amps and the sparkling clarity of the later Blackface models, the Brownface Princeton has earned a reputation for its warm cleans, rich mids and wonderfully dynamic response.

Powered by the legendary 6G2 circuit, this Princeton delivers beautiful clean tones at lower volumes while rewarding players with smooth, harmonically rich overdrive when pushed harder. Its touch sensitivity and natural compression make it equally at home in the studio, on stage or in the living room.

This amplifier retains its original August 1963 tube chart stamp and chassis serial number P06171, placing it among the final years of Brownface production. While remaining true to its vintage character, it has been upgraded with a boutique 10" Jupiter speaker. Known for its vintage inspired voicing and excellent reliability, the Jupiter complements the amp's warm, articulate tone while ensuring dependable performance for years to come.
