Fender Stratocaster Eric Clapton Blackie 2013

Amid all the Custom Shop excitement, it’s easy to forget that the Eric Clapton signature Strat is still part of Fender’s core range. This Clapton Strat includes all the essential features that give you access to the full range of Clapton’s signature tones.

It starts with the alder body paired with a maple neck featuring the distinctive V-profile. Like the other Fender EC guitars, its foundation is based on “Blackie”, with its maple neck, single-ply pickguard, and blocked tremolo. However, Eric wasn’t looking for a direct copy of Blackie. That’s why he added the Active Mid Boost (tone control) and a TBX circuit to the renowned recipe.

This 2013 Fender Eric Clapton Stratocaster shows only a few light scratches on the body, neck, and pickguard, along with a couple of minor surface dents on the body. The back of the guitar also shows some lacquer impressions, likely caused by an object that was resting underneath the guitar inside the case. Overall, it remains clean and is in excellent condition. It comes with its matching 50s Tweed Fender case and original accessories.
