Franchin Mars 2 Tone Sunburst Medium Relic (Made in Italy)

In 2016, Mattia Franchin founded Franchin Guitars, a project born from the mix of his two great passions, art and music. He himself has an artistic education, and soon surrounded himself with a team of artists from the Academy of the Fine Arts of Venice, as well as technical luthiers.

All guitars are made in Italy with a selection of the best and most resonant woods available. The entire finishing process is carried out in their laboratory in Monticello Conte Otto (near Vicenza, Italy). Each piece is unique, built with selected materials and goes through a refined and carefully detailed construction process.

Their T-style model is called the 'Mars' and this particular example is wrapped in a 2 Tone Sunburst finish, convincingly given a Medium Relic to give the guitar a played-in and seasoned look. The playability of the guitar is however fully up to modern standards. And thanks to the resonant body and the Franchin handmade single coils, the sound of the guitar is of an equally high level.
