Furch Green G-SR 12 String 2021

This Furch Green G-SR from 2021 is a beautifully built 12-string acoustic from one of Europe's most respected makers. Combining a solid Sitka spruce top with solid Indian rosewood back and sides, it delivers the shimmering, chiming voice a great 12-string is all about, wrapped in the fit, finish and playability Furch is known for. In excellent condition, it's a lot of guitar for the money.

Furch, based in the Czech Republic, has earned a stellar reputation for handcrafted acoustics that rival instruments costing considerably more. The Green series is built entirely from solid tonewoods, and this G-SR pairs its Sitka spruce top with Indian rosewood for a rich, full-range tone: deep lows, clear projecting highs and that classic rosewood sparkle. The grand auditorium body keeps everything balanced and articulate, even with twelve strings ringing at once.

Twelve-strings can be a handful, but this one is a real pleasure to play. The mahogany neck with its soft V profile, ebony fingerboard and 16" radius makes fretting and chording comfortable, while a well-judged setup keeps the action manageable. A fitted LR Baggs VTC pickup with volume and tone control lets you plug straight in and fill a room with that lush, jangly 12-string sound, on stage or in the studio.

This example is really clean. There's a small ding just below the pickguard, along with a few buckle marks on the back of the body that catch the light, but nothing that takes away from how it looks or plays. It comes complete with a hardshell case.
