Gibson Advanced Jumbo Anniversary Limited Edition Cremona Burst

To celebrate 100 Years of Gibson Flat Tops, Gibson Custom presents the Advanced Jumbo Anniversary Limited Edition. Part of a special Anniversary Collection consisting of five iconic models, each limited to just 100 instruments, this exceptional Advanced Jumbo is handcrafted in Bozeman, Montana and pays tribute to one of Gibson's most celebrated pre war acoustic designs.

This limited edition combines rosewood back and sides with a select bearclaw Sitka spruce top, delivering the powerful projection, rich low end and balanced response that have made the Advanced Jumbo such a respected model among acoustic players. Multi ply binding with abalone top purfling and an abalone rosette add an elegant touch while complementing the guitar's vintage inspired appearance.

The mahogany neck features Gibson's Historic AJ profile and is paired with a bound rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl arrow inlays. Gold Grover open back tuners, a bone nut, bone saddle and TUSQ bridge pins complete the premium specification. The classic firestripe pickguard and rectangular closed slot rosewood bridge with pyramid style carving details remain faithful to the original design.

Finished in a period inspired Cremona Burst gloss nitrocellulose lacquer, the Advanced Jumbo Anniversary Limited Edition is equipped with an L.R. Baggs VTC pickup system for natural amplified performance. The discreet soundhole mounted controls preserve the traditional appearance while providing convenient access to volume and tone adjustments.

Originally introduced in 1936, the Advanced Jumbo was developed as part of Gibson's larger bodied "Advanced" series, offering increased projection, impressive dynamic range and a full, rich voice. Although its original production run was relatively short, the model earned a lasting reputation among players and continues to be regarded as one of Gibson's finest pre war flat top designs. This Anniversary Edition celebrates that heritage with exceptional craftsmanship and carefully selected materials.

The guitar comes in a Gibson Custom hardshell case with a certificate of authenticity.
