This 2020 Custom Shop Les Paul Special is part of a "Pilot Run"—a small-scale test series for a new guitar model produced prior to full-scale manufacturing. The back of the headstock indicates that this is number 13 in this limited series, making it a truly special instrument.

The guitar features a one-piece mahogany body finished in TV White, paired with a mahogany set neck and a Bolivian rosewood fretboard. As mentioned, the two Soapbar P90 pickups excel in versatility; they handle everything from blues and rock to jazz with ease!
There are very light signs of play on the body, pickup covers, and bridge, but otherwise, the guitar looks exceptionally clean. This Les Paul truly lives up to the name "Special"!
