Gibson Dove Anniversary Limited Edition Cremona Burst

To celebrate 100 Years of Gibson Flat Tops, Gibson Custom has introduced the Dove Anniversary Limited Edition, one of five commemorative acoustic models produced in a run of just 100 instruments. Handcrafted in Bozeman, Montana, this special edition pays tribute to one of Gibson's most iconic square shoulder acoustics while showcasing the craftsmanship that has defined the brand for a century.

This Anniversary model pairs AA figured maple back and sides with a select bearclaw Sitka spruce top, producing the bright, articulate voice that has made the Dove a favourite among countless players. The elegant appointments include multi ply binding with abalone top purfling, an abalone rosette and the signature Dove pickguard and bridge, both adorned with mother of pearl dove inlays.

The mahogany neck features a comfortable Round profile and is fitted with a bound rosewood fingerboard with split parallelogram mother of pearl inlays. Gold Grover tuners with keystone buttons, a bone nut, bone saddle and TUSQ bridge pins complete the premium specification. Finished in Vintage Inspired Cremona Burst gloss nitrocellulose lacquer, the Dove Anniversary Limited Edition is also equipped with an L.R. Baggs VTC pickup system, offering natural amplified tone while keeping the controls discreetly mounted inside the soundhole.

First introduced in 1962, the Gibson Dove was the company's first maple bodied square shoulder dreadnought and has remained one of Gibson's most recognisable acoustic models ever since. This limited edition honours that legacy with exceptional craftsmanship and timeless style.

The guitar comes in a Gibson Custom hardshell case with a certificate of authenticity.
