To celebrate 100 Years of Gibson Flat Tops, Gibson Custom presents the Hummingbird Anniversary Limited Edition. Part of a special Anniversary Collection consisting of five iconic acoustic models, each limited to just 100 instruments, this exceptional Hummingbird is handcrafted in Bozeman, Montana and celebrates one of Gibson's most recognizable acoustic guitars.

This Anniversary Edition pairs mahogany back and sides with a select bearclaw Sitka spruce top, delivering the warm, balanced voice and distinctive character that have defined the Hummingbird since its introduction. Multi ply binding with abalone top purfling and an abalone rosette give the guitar an elegant appearance while remaining faithful to its classic design.

The mahogany neck features a comfortable Round profile and is fitted with a bound rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl split parallelogram inlays. Gold Grover tuners with keystone buttons, a bone nut, bone saddle and TUSQ bridge pins complete the premium specification. The iconic tortoise style pickguard features the famous hummingbird, butterfly and floral artwork, while the rosewood belly up bridge incorporates pyramid carving details inspired by Gibson's early flat top guitars.

Finished in Historic Cremona Burst gloss nitrocellulose lacquer, the Hummingbird Anniversary Limited Edition is equipped with an L.R. Baggs VTC pickup system for natural amplified performance. The discreet soundhole mounted controls preserve the traditional appearance while offering convenient access to volume and tone adjustments.

Introduced in 1960 as Gibson's first square shoulder dreadnought, the Hummingbird quickly established itself as one of the company's most successful acoustic guitars. Its balanced response, warm tone and versatility have made it a favourite among players across a wide range of musical styles. The guitar comes in a Gibson Custom hardshell case with a certificate of authenticity.
