The G200 EC is part of Gibson's Generation Collection and, like every model in the collection, it is built in Bozeman, Montana, by the same skilled craftspeople behind all of Gibson's acoustic guitars. Its standout feature is the Gibson Player Port: an original Gibson concept from the early 1960s that the brand's acoustic luthiers refined for this collection. The port in the side of the body lets you hear the guitar as you play it, much the way your audience hears it, adding a new dimension to the sound and a more immersive playing experience.

The solid Sitka spruce top with solid walnut back and sides gives a clear, resonant voice with plenty of projection, while the slightly slimmer cutaway jumbo body sits comfortably against you and offers excellent access to the upper frets.
