Gibson J45 Anniversary Limited Edition Cremona Burst

To celebrate 100 Years of Gibson Flat Tops, Gibson Custom presents the J-45 Anniversary Limited Edition. Part of a special Anniversary Collection consisting of five iconic models, each limited to just 100 instruments, this remarkable J-45 is handcrafted in Bozeman, Montana and pays tribute to one of Gibson's most enduring acoustic guitars.

This limited edition pairs mahogany back and sides with a select bearclaw Sitka spruce top, delivering the warm, balanced voice that has made the J-45 a favourite of countless players for decades. Multi ply binding with abalone top purfling and an abalone rosette add an elegant touch while remaining true to the model's timeless design.

The mahogany neck features Gibson's comfortable SlimTaper profile and is fitted with a bound rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl dot inlays. Gold Grover open back tuners, a bone nut, bone saddle and TUSQ bridge pins complete the premium specification. The rosewood belly up bridge features pyramid carving details inspired by Gibson's earliest flat top guitars, while the Historic Cremona Burst gloss nitrocellulose finish gives the instrument a beautifully vintage inspired appearance.

Equipped with an L.R. Baggs VTC pickup system, the J-45 Anniversary Limited Edition is equally at home on stage or in the studio. The discreetly mounted soundhole controls preserve the guitar's classic appearance while providing natural amplified tone whenever needed.

Since its introduction in 1942, the J-45 has become Gibson's best selling acoustic guitar and earned its nickname "The Workhorse" thanks to its versatility, balanced sound and exceptional projection. The guitar comes in a Gibson Custom hardshell case with a certificate of authenticity.
