Gibson Les Paul ES Bourbon Burst 2015

This 2015 Gibson Les Paul ES in Bourbon Burst is a semi-hollow twist on the classic Les Paul, blending that unmistakable Les Paul look and bite with ES-335 style airiness and resonance. Topped with a gorgeous flamed maple top and weighing a feathery 2.7 kg, it is as comfortable to play as it is beautiful to look at.

The Les Paul ES was built at Gibson's Memphis facility and reimagines the Les Paul as a semi-hollow instrument. A chambered maple body with a maple centre block gives it the woody, open resonance of a semi-hollow while keeping plenty of sustain and feedback resistance, and the carved figured maple top delivers all the visual drama you want from a Les Paul in a rich Bourbon Burst.

A pair of MHS (Memphis Historic Spec) humbuckers sits at its heart, voiced for vintage PAF style tone with clarity, warmth and a lively top end. Combined with the semi-hollow construction, they give the guitar a dynamic, characterful voice that spans everything from jazzy cleans to classic rock crunch, with independent volume and tone for each pickup and a three-way switch.

With a comfortable Rounded C mahogany neck, a 12" rosewood fingerboard and a 24.75" scale, it has that familiar Les Paul feel, while the light semi-hollow body makes it a genuine pleasure over long sessions. It is in excellent condition and comes with its certificate and a hardshell case, along with a TFOA Passport.
