Gretsch G6136-59 Vintage Select White Falcon 2025

The G6136T-59 Vintage Select Series '59 Falcon hollow-body guitar with Bigsby is a refined take on the original masterpiece, combining historically accurate features and characteristics from the golden age of the electric guitar. This rare bird truly comes to life in the hands of a guitarist with a unique, signature sound—delighting both the eyes and the ears.

A pair of TV Jones Classic pickups delivers a powerful tone and unparalleled dynamics, while the new Gretsch "Squeezebox" paper-in-oil capacitors provide a silky-smooth high end. The Bigsby tremolo allows you to add extra life to your sound, and the pinned Space Control bridge, paired with a bone nut, ensures the guitar stays perfectly in tune.

A highly resonant three-ply maple top—featuring 1959-style trestle bracing—along with a multi-ply laminated maple body, makes this guitar a real powerhouse, offering excellent projection and a rich, balanced tone. The maple neck, featuring a comfortable and versatile standard "U" profile, is topped with a 12"-radius ebony fingerboard with 22 medium-jumbo frets and classic Gretsch "thumbnail" inlays.

The guitar is further appointed with gold-colored hardware, gold "G-arrow" control knobs, gold-sparkle binding, a white nitrocellulose finish, and a gold pickguard bearing the Gretsch logo. The G6136T-59 Vintage Select Series Falcon Hollow Body with Bigsby is the crown jewel of the Gretsch lineup.

This 2025 Gretsch is, unfortunately, no longer entirely original; the gold-colored Gretsch-Bigsby tailpiece has been replaced with a silver-colored version. Otherwise, the guitar shows only very minimal signs of play and is, for all practical purposes, nearly indistinguishable from a brand-new instrument.

This guitar has been carefully inspected for condition and playability, then set up to our Gold Standard by a luthier. We make sure it arrives in your hands exactly as it should: sounding its best, playing effortlessly and ready to be enjoyed from the very first note.
