The Hymn Michaël S is a beautifully built boutique offset from Hymn Guitars, here in a gorgeous Sherwood Green. This 2024 example pairs a lightweight tempered pine body with premium hardware and electronics, resulting in a resonant, characterful and endlessly versatile instrument.

Hymn builds with real attention to detail, and the Michaël S is a perfect example. The tempered pine body keeps it light at just 2.9 kg and gives it a dry, open and resonant character, while the tempered flame maple neck with its maple fingerboard, Medium C profile and 9.5" radius feels fast and familiar. Vintage style tuners, a Mastery M1 bridge and a Mastery tremolo round out a top tier offset package built for stability and smooth, expressive vibrato.

At the heart of the guitar is a trio of Lollar '64 single coils, voiced for classic, vintage flavoured chime and clarity, but the real magic is in the switching. The upper three way toggle works just like a traditional three way, selecting the neck, the neck and bridge together, or the bridge. The lower three way switch then controls the middle pickup independently: you can switch it off, isolate it on its own, or blend it in with any setting of the top toggle. That means you can reach every classic S style combination and more from this three single coil layout, all through two simple toggles, with a master volume and tone keeping things wonderfully straightforward.

It is in near mint condition, showing almost no playwear beyond some scratches on the pickguard. It comes with its COA, a gigbag and a TFOA Passport.
