Since the 1930s, the 14-fret OM has been the working musician's answer to an age-old problem: how do you get genuine volume and definition from a guitar that remains comfortable to play? The WE stays true to that original formula, featuring a long 25.5-inch scale length that provides slightly higher string tension and extra power behind every note. Whether you are strumming, fingerpicking, or tuning to DADGAD, the WE handles it all without compromise.

To enhance the authentic feel of guitars from the golden era, Iris Guitars goes a step further with a matte finish that gives the instruments a vintage vibe. This natural finish is complemented by tortoise-style binding and a matching pickguard. To top it all off, Iris has applied a more understated version of its signature logo to the headstock, lending the guitar a refined aesthetic.

Based in Burlington, Vermont, Iris Guitars was founded in 2018 under the umbrella of Circle Strings. The company employs a team of passionate guitar enthusiasts who, led by experienced luthiers Adam Buchwald and Dale Fairbanks, build modern guitars that capture the sound and look of vintage instruments.
