Kauffmann 56 T Thinline Two Tone Sunburst Heavy Aged

This Kauffmann 56 T Thinline is a T-style guitar that captures the spirit of a well-worn fifties workhorse. Its alder body wears a two-tone sunburst with heavy aging, so it looks and feels like it has been played for decades.

The 56 T follows the classic 1956 recipe: an alder body, a maple neck and the direct, cutting voice that made the design a stage and studio staple. What sets Kauffmann apart is the detail work and the aging, every check and worn edge in the finish is done by hand to recreate the character of a genuine vintage guitar.

This 56 T is fitted with a pair of Kauffmann's own SOW T single-coils, wired to the familiar volume, tone and three-way layout. Together they deliver everything you want from a great T-style: a bright, snappy bridge tone with real bite, a warmer neck position and a sweet blend of the two in the middle. At just 2.85 kg, it is a pleasure to play for hours.
