This 17” Archtop by Les Korn is a jazz guitar par excellence, and with a Kent Armstrong humbucker in the neck position, it also performs well amplified.

The guitar features a carved maple body with a beautiful flame, forming a lovely combination with the carved spruce top. The maple neck has a sturdy profile and is equipped with an ebony fingerboard with a 12-inch radius and fairly substantial frets. Ebony is also found as the material for the pickguard, bridge, and tailpiece.

This archtop has been played and therefore shows signs of use here and there, as well as a repaired crack on the side of the body. More importantly, the truss rod is defective. As a result, the nut has been made very low, and the higher frets have been leveled to prevent the strings from buzzing. The guitar is in playable condition, but with a caveat.

This instrument has been carefully inspected for originality, condition and playability, then set up to our Gold Standard by a luthier. We make sure it arrives in your hands exactly as it should: sounding its best, playing effortlessly and ready to be enjoyed from the very first note.
