Lowden FM35 Koa Sinker Redwood

Lowden is known for its use of the very best woods, carefully selected and assembled according to the highest quality standards. This FM35 is equipped with the special combination of a Koa back and sides and Sinker Redwood top, and this results in a fabulous guitar!

The FM Model is a variation on one of Lowden's most popular body shapes, the F. This is what you might call the Lowden Auditorium model with a sound box that is only slightly wider and deeper than an Orchestra model. Very suitable for fingerstyle, with a good balance, but also very powerful and strong enough for rhythm playing. The FM model has a slightly less deep body than the regular F-Model, and has a clear sound with slightly less mids.

This Lowden FM35 is made with the beautiful Koa as a sound box wood and a perfectly matching Sinker Redwood top, both in AAAA quality as you would expect from Lowden! Sinker Redwood comes from California and is harvested from 1000 to 2000 year old trees that have fallen naturally and have been preserved under water for centuries.

Other features include the signature five-piece mahogany and rosewood neck, this time with a slightly flatter GL Narrow Low neck profile for a more electric-like playing experience. There’s also an abalone rosette, pau ferro bindings, an ebony and maple bound ebony fingerboard, a bocote bridge and gold Gotoh tuners with ebony buttons on this fantastic Lowden.

The guitar comes with a TFOA passport in an Ameritage case.
