The Paul Brady Signature Model from Lowden celebrates a partnership that began in the early 1990s, uniting two iconic Irish names.

Paul Brady’s acclaimed songwriting has inspired artists on both sides of the Atlantic, with hits like Crazy Dreams, Nothing but the Same Old Story, The Island, and Steel Claw (covered by Tina Turner). His collaborations include duets with Bonnie Raitt, who also featured his work on her album Luck of the Draw.

In recent years, Paul has favored using a mic for his guitar on stage, even with his band at high volumes. The Signature Model has been designed with enhanced projection to support this mic-only setup. Fans of both Lowden and Paul Brady will be thrilled by this addition to the Lowden Signature Models, each celebrating a guitarist who has made Lowden their choice.

The model is based on the Lowden O-model, and this Jumbo was George Lowden's first design. The O-body shape lends itself perfectly to drop tunings, revealing the guitar's captivating tonal potential. Deep, resonant lows are accompanied by sparkling, clear highs, bringing the guitar closer to the complex sonic palette of a piano.

This Lowden was built in 2021 and is in near-mint condition. A few tiny scratches can be found on the pickguard, and two barely visible gloss lines in the matte finish are visible on the back of the body. The guitar comes with a TFOA passport and comes in an Ameritage hardshell case.
