Adirondack is known for its strong headroom and wide dynamic range, so this dreadnought responds beautifully whether you dig in hard or play softly, with a powerful low end and clear, ringing trebles. This is a modern guitar, but one built very much in the spirit of the vintage herringbone Martins that players have chased for decades.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eAs a 2023 build, this HD28 is in near mint condition. Some light traces on the pickguard tell us that is has been played, but otherwise it looks almost as new. The Custom Shop appointments are what set it apart: the Golden Era Diamonds and Squares long pattern inlay running up the ebony fingerboard, herringbone purfling, and a Honduran rosewood headstock overlay.
