The Maton EBG808TE Tommy Emmanuel is a signature model developed for one of the world's most expressive guitarists; it is renowned for its exceptional dynamics, clarity, and balance, whether played acoustically or amplified.

This "00" model features a solid spruce top paired with solid Queensland maple back and sides. This combination of woods produces a focused, articulate tone with excellent definition and a quick response. The maple neck features a comfortable C-profile and a rosewood fretboard with a 12-inch radius and a 648mm scale length, ensuring a smooth playing experience across the entire neck.

Equipped with the Maton APMic pickup system, the EBG808TE is fully stage-ready and prized for its natural, feedback-resistant amplified sound. The tapered X-bracing contributes to a lively, responsive tone, while details such as the cream binding, herringbone rosette, and "CGP" inlay at the 12th fret reflect Tommy Emmanuel’s personal style.

This 2010 model is a true "player's guitar," showing more signs of use than an instrument that has spent its life in a case. The finish on the top has been sanded to a matte sheen, as has the pickguard. The bridge has been reglued at some point, and the saddle has been replaced. There is light buckle rash on the back of the body, which also bears a signature from Tommy Emmanuel himself—though it has since partially faded.

In terms of tone and playability, however, this Maton is in excellent shape; you can not only see that the guitar has been well-played, but you can feel and hear it, too!
