Morgan OM Aged Rosewood Spruce 1996

This hand-built Morgan OM from 1996 is the work of Canadian master builder David Iannone and combines aged Indian rosewood with a Sitka spruce top. With thirty years of natural aging, this Morgan has only gained in character over time. This is immediately reflected in its open, mature tone and rich resonance, while visually the guitar still presents in remarkably fresh condition.

Iannone was the last traditional apprentice of the renowned Canadian builder Jean Larrivée, and that heritage can be found throughout every Morgan. The combination of Indian rosewood back and sides with a Sitka spruce top is a proven recipe: the rosewood provides rich overtones and a full low end, while the spruce gives the guitar clarity and a balanced response.

Considering its age, this Morgan remains exceptionally clean and is in excellent condition. The guitar has a few light, superficial dings on the top and body, with some minor playwear visible across the instrument and pickguard. It is supplied in a case with a TFOA passport.
