The Serus J is a wonderfully versatile workhorse with its comfortably contoured offset body. The 'J' takes its inspiration from the Jazzmaster and is defined here by the Novo-branded Mastery M1 bridge and NV vibrato. Fitted with two Lindy Fralin P90s and a simple control layout — a single volume, a single tone and a three-way switch — it's ready to rock.

The tempered pine body and tempered maple neck (tempered meaning roasted, or torrefied) give the guitar an aged look and extra resonance, so it already radiates a healthy dose of vintage flair and is a joy to play. A compound 9.5"–14" fingerboard radius and medium C neck keep things fast and modern under the hand, and at just 3.1 kg it's featherlight.
