Novo Serus J Starry Night over Sonic Blue

The Novo Serus combines meticulous attention to detail with first-class specifications. Dressed in a Starry Night over Sonic Blue finish in combination with a tortoise pickguard, it marries a modern design with a vintage feel. Masterfully designed by the renowned Dennis Fano and built by the expert team in Nashville, these guitars are in a class of their own!

This Serus J is Novo's most recognizable model and is a wonderfully versatile guitar with its comfortable contoured body made of tempered pine. However, the 'J' also draws inspiration from the Jazzmaster and distinguishes itself with the new 'Novo-branded' Mastery bridge and vibrato.

The maple neck with an Indian rosewood fretboard of this Serus features MOTO dot inlays and a compound radius for a comfortable playing experience. The neck is 'tempered,' which essentially means 'roasted' or 'torrefied,' and provides an aged look and enhanced resonance. The matching headstock is the icing on the cake!

The finish has also been treated by Novo with Medium Distress, giving this guitar a generous dose of vintage flair and making it a joy to play. In addition to the volume and tone controls adorned with Dumble-style knobs, it has a three-way switch for more than enough tonal variation; the Fralin P90s deliver any sound you could possibly want to hear without any problems!

Novo's lineup includes some beautiful models, but these can also be fully customized through the Custom Shop. We took advantage of this opportunity to have a Serus built with some interesting specifications!
