Peerless Monarch Sunburst 2009

The Peerless Monarch is a proper full-size archtop jazz guitar that punches well above its price. With its 17-inch body of solid spruce and maple in a classic sunburst, elegant gold hardware and a warm-sounding floating mini humbucker, it has exactly the look, the feel and the rich, woody voice you want from a real jazz box.

Peerless, based in Korea, built a formidable reputation making instruments for some of the biggest names in the business long before they put their own name on the headstock. Their own archtops, like this Monarch, are the result of all that experience: genuine hand-built archtop quality, beautiful appointments and a deep, articulate jazz tone, at a price that is almost hard to believe.

This 2009 example is in excellent condition. There is a small line in the finish on each side of the neck near the nut, and it has picked up some light playing wear in the form of a few scratches. It comes supplied in a case.

This guitar has been carefully inspected for condition and playability, then set up to our Gold Standard by a luthier. We make sure it arrives in your hands exactly as it should: sounding its best, playing effortlessly and ready to be enjoyed from the very first note.
