Sadowsky Masterbuilt instruments are, according to Roger himself, ‘as close as possible’ to the high-end instruments he builds in his New York City workshop.

That's because he is personally involved in the entire development process of all designs, from the selection of tonewood combinations to the finishes and premium features. Roger deliberately chose to have his basses manufactured under licence in Germany, allowing more musicians than ever before to play a genuine Sadowsky.

This Standard J/J bass has a natural look with its Black Transparent Satin finish and maple neck. Besides a beautiful and rugged look, it also offers comfortable, smooth playability.

The custom-made Sadowsky pickups and preamp combine for a versatile, modern tonal palette that can handle anything. It features two Hum-Cancelling J-Style pickups, which together have the typical Sadowsky sound; never harsh or shrill-sounding, with strong, powerful but never muddy bass, with mids that are present but not too aggressive, and a sweet and airy treble range.

The Sadowsky 2-band boost-only preamp has become iconic and legendary in its own right. Its tonal qualities fit perfectly into the mix no matter how the other controls are set. The bass comes with TFOA passport in a deluxe Sadowsky gig bag.
