Suhr Andy Wood Modern T HH War Black 2021

The Suhr Andy Wood Signature Modern T is a no-compromises take on the T-style for players who want to do absolutely everything. Designed hand in hand with the astonishingly versatile Andy Wood, it blends classic looks with a thoroughly modern spec, all wrapped in a stealthy War Black satin finish. This is a serious workhorse, built to go anywhere from country to fusion to full-blown rock.

Suhr are rightly regarded as one of the finest builders in the world, and Andy Wood is one of those rare players who can turn his hand to any style at the very highest level. That combination shows in every detail of this guitar. A pair of Thornbucker humbuckers gives it an enormous tonal range, from sparkling clarity to thick, singing drive, and the clever push-pull switching opens up even more voices for when you need them.

But where this Modern T really comes alive is under the fingers. The roasted maple neck feels fast and rock-solid, the jumbo stainless steel frets make big bends and quick runs effortless, and the whole thing is set up to play like a dream. It is the kind of guitar that simply does whatever you ask of it, and keeps pulling you back for one more song.

This 2021 example is in excellent condition, with only minimal signs of play in the form of some light scratches. It looks very clean overall and comes supplied with its spec sheet.

This guitar has been carefully inspected for condition and playability, then set up to our Gold Standard by a luthier. We make sure it arrives in your hands exactly as it should: sounding its best, playing effortlessly and ready to be enjoyed from the very first note.
