The Suhr Classic J is based on the iconic electric bass designs of the 1960s. This shape has helped define the electric bass guitar for more than half a century. The streamlined frame, asymmetrical body shape and slim vintage neck profile of the Classic J create an instrument that combines vintage style with modern improvements.

With a two-piece ash body finished in Lake Placid Blue, it adds a classic touch to the bass's timeless design. The maple neck is accompanied by a maple fingerboard with a 7.25 inch radius for a vintage playing feel, but with the convenience of modern stainless steel frets. Finally, the Hipshot hardware ensures reliability and stability.

This Suhr was built in 2013, and is fully prepared for the professional bassist! The Hipshot D Tuner allows you to switch effortlessly to Drop D tuning, and the MONO strap with strap locks make playing while standing a comfortable and safe undertaking. For studio work, a GruvGear Fretwrap is included so that unwanted noises are a thing of the past. The bass itself looks exceptionally clean, and comes with a TFOA passport in a hardshell case.
