Equipped with vintage-inspired V63 pickups, a comfortable '60s Vintage C neck profile and the impeccable craftsmanship Suhr is known for, this is an S-style guitar that's ready for the stage.

John Suhr began building guitars alongside Rudy Pensa in New York during the 1980s, later worked as a master builder at the Fender Custom Shop, and crafted instruments for numerous top guitarists while at Custom Audio Electronics. In 1997, he founded his own company in California, and the Classic S is perhaps the clearest expression of his philosophy: an S-style guitar that stays true to the early-'60s recipe while offering the precision, consistency and build quality that have made Suhr a household name among discerning players.

That attention to detail becomes apparent the moment you pick up the neck. The '60s Vintage C profile feels comfortably substantial, while the maple fingerboard features a compound radius that gradually flattens towards the upper frets, with gently rolled edges for effortless playability whether you're strumming chords or playing high up the neck. The V63 pickups are wound after an exceptionally great-sounding 1963 Stratocaster, delivering the sparkling single-coil tone you'd expect, complemented by a full and balanced midrange. A Gotoh 510 tremolo and Suhr locking tuners ensure excellent tuning stability. Includes a Suhr gig bag and TFOA passport.
